Help for crew using Get Paged, and how search and rescue organisations can apply for access.
This is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard. If a callout is happening and the app is not working, follow your organisation's backup callout procedure.

What to include
- your name and the organisation you belong to
- your phone model, and whether it runs iOS or Android, with the version number
- the Get Paged app version

- a screenshot, if it helps
Please do not email incident details or other people's personal information. We can arrange a safer way to share them if needed.
Existing crew
For questions about joining, approval, your roles or permission to send pages, contact your organisation's Get Paged admin first. Only they can approve members or change roles.
For technical problems, such as not receiving notifications or the app not working, email us with the details above.
Applying for access (organisations)
Get Paged is available only to search and rescue organisations that can show they are a recognised rescue facility. Applications must come from a responsible officer, such as a trustee, operations manager or coxswain.
To apply, email us with:
- the organisation's name and the area it covers
- your name and your role in the organisation
- evidence that the organisation is a recognised rescue facility, such as a letter or agreement from HM Coastguard confirming its Declared Facility status, or equivalent confirmation from its tasking authority
- roughly how many crew would use the app

Common questions
Can I download Get Paged myself?
No. Get Paged is not open to the public. Your organisation must be verified, and then an admin of your organisation must give you its joining code and approve you. If your team uses Get Paged, ask your organisation's admin.
What happens if I leave my team?
Your organisation's admin removes your access, and you stop receiving pages straight away. To have your personal data deleted, email info@get-paged.com.
How do I stop callouts sounding when my phone is on silent?
On iPhone, turn off Critical Alerts for Get Paged in your notification settings. On Android, turn off Override Do Not Disturb for Get Paged callouts. You will still receive callouts as standard notifications. To stop receiving pages for a period, mark yourself unavailable in the app. See Receiving a page for step-by-step instructions.
Is there an Android version?
An Android version is on its way. It works the same way as the iPhone app, and your organisation will let you know when it is available.
